Mirror mirror,
what shall I wonder?
Shall I ask you a question
and watch you ponder
Shall you tell the truth,
the whole truth
though it shall shatter my heart
Or would you lie
like so many others
and tremble in your frame
as you utter
‘You are the most beautiful of them all’

Mirror mirror
You make me wonder
How true are your words
Do they be fickle
Do they be kind
Do they be something I cannot understand
Will you watch me smile
Frolic like a child
Giddy and wild
All the while praying
I shall not catch on
and end your lies.

I was only seeking the truth you should have been speaking.
