She said ‘I’ll be an Ostrich, just for a day,’
in order to get through the list of tasks in hand
and tried in vain to dig her head in the sand
but curiosity caught her like a Cat,
and she poked her head out briefly,
‘I’ll only be a little while,’ and she frolicked
distracted by the strings and threads of activity
memory like a Goldfish
that it was neither Goldfish nor Cat
she was supposed to be
but a cheeky Ostrich
with her head in the sand
and something else in the air
seriously working on her list.
(Though how one is meant to work
with head in the sand
is beyond me.)
(LOL. That’s all I’m going to say for this one. L. O. L.)
LOL! That was hilarious! What a hoot! 😀

Hehe. I know. I had to stop myself from laughing in public when I was writing it.
