Through the vail of life
I will see, I’ll see
all the colors of the trees,
all the melody sung by birds
over skies and seas taking away with it a season
to another land, as bright as day
Oh I’ll see, I’ll see
the beauty before me
and note changes in the tides
when full moon entices
as if lovers torn
held apart.
I’ll see, I’ll see
almost everything as new insights
and the vail will fall
stripping away illusionary world
just the truth down to bare bones.
I’ll see, I’ll see
the skeleton that’s in you and me.

Thank you! I wasn’t going to share this one because I was stuck writing it at one point.

When you get stuck, get out(side) and push it!
