Courage be they name
scrolled beneath pillars deep
upon your common shoulders
the world and it’s beauty built.
Be it the pyramids of Egypt
the tomb that is Taj Mahal,
or you carved and set every brick
every stone of the Great Wall,
even the Garden of Babylon was a feat.
None possible
none ever more valuable
than the history steeped
by blood of men who gave their lives
for a monument they’d never see.
Courage be thy name
those skilled eyes can never deny the existence
of courageous men and their demise
at the alter of Kingly needs.
