Logline for next book release!

It’s funny how we remember advice given in zest. They stick like honey on toast, glue on paper, or an annoying fly in summer.

Back when I was in the film school, one of the advice we were given was regarding how we should respond to potential producers, or other members of the film industry should we meet them and should they ask you what projects you’re doing? The advice was that we should always say that we have multiple projects in various stages of development. Well, with me, this is true at the very moment.

As I work on two feature scripts, a new novel I started writing, my studies, or editing my second novel to get it ready for release towards end of year. I truly have a few things going on and I love it.

The next book I’ll publish is called ‘Rule of Thirds’ and I’m currently working on readying it for the world. I’m super-duper excited because I can’t wait to hear how you guys find it.

I do need your help in the meantime. What do you think of the Logline below?

(#RuleOfThirds) Elle’s a widow and a single mum. Can she really, truly keep running from love what with it chasing her as a handsome Mr Stewart?

Thoughts please.

    1. Best advice I can give is to never give up. And I say this honestly. There will be times you’ll want to give up, but if you truly belief this writing business is for you then keep writing. Meaning keep practicing.

Producers are hard to land, but not impossible. Whether you go via the traditional route or self-publishing, do make sure your work is up to scratch. I don’t say this because you may be criticized. I say this because if you can make an impression first time around, people will come to you asking when your next work will be released.
